WE are the real problem here, because WE accept this nonsense and try to ignore it and go on about our lives and trying to be productive... and thus we get more and more of it, with each passing year. There should be far more public outrage at the incessant damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't nonsense from the Progressives.
So what this lady is really saying is that EVERYONE ELSE should get out of HER way!! ...and complains when people don’t, which seems to generally be “white women”. That said, it’s still probably bias on her part, discounting the number of white women that do get out of her way.

Why can’t Greg Howard move to the right of all people walking in a direct path toward him? I thought that the custom was to pass on the right. Does it really matter what the other person does or does not do, especially in a crowded place like New York city? Plan to move to the right of everyone coming toward you and save the blood pressure spikes of getting furious over petty nuisances.

Women in general do not stop or slow for pedestrians,will hit you as soon as look at you at Costco, won’t show common courtesies that guys sometimes do. Guys in the country will raise a finger when passing another car...not so women[ tho they may not wish to be seen as “flirting or some such some old timer said to me] Guy joggers will say morning...women rarely do.

Bottom line women ACT a lot less friendly and do act entitled.
But it ain’t just you...its everybody in their way.
In NYC, you pass a lot more than “several” white women in a day, but the rude ones are the only ones that he remembers.
If he’s worried about manners, he should go hang at a Dennys or McDonalds in the hood. Then he’d have some columns to write.
Greg Howard needs to get some education on ‘navigation rules’.
He ought to have yelled ‘starboard’ and simply held his course.
This is the same show of physical domination that Muslims show when they are all praying in the streets, blocking traffic and sidewalks.
His message is clear - you white women are inferior, you are required to get out of the way of your black male superiors all the time or else be shamed for it.
It is like dhimmi being forced to get off the road so Muslims didn’t have to change their path.
I so appreciate what he is saying and I vow to not only move out of his way, but to cross the street entirely as fast as I can.....the farther away from his stink the better....
Many years of running for exercise on public beaches taught me to beware of women walking directly into my path. They weren’t exactly “blissful,” they were just oblivious to their surroundings. A non-PC observation, but that’s what happened. Men were rarely a problem.
Self-centered rude people of all types do this all the time. It happens to everyone.
