Two Calgary women say they’ll never take another Associated Cab again after an incident Friday night with a driver in the Southland area.
Mya McDonald first shared her outrage over Facebook after she wrote the man told her group that her friend “Brit” was too large to sit in the back seat.
“He told my friend to sit in the back because she was smaller and the other bigger girl should sit in the front so that we could all fit in the back because (hand movements) she’s… y’know, fatter than all of you,” McDonald wrote.

I side firmly with the driver. If these large passengers had told the dispatcher when they called, that there were five of them, a minivan would have been sent and all would have been well.
Instead, a Prius was sent. The poor cabby agreed to take 5, when the cab could only take 4 people. Because English was his second language, he was unable to 'nuance' the language in explaining that it would be better if the largest of the 'wide bodies' was up front, to give the other four a little more room in the back seat.
It seems to me, that those with 'thick bodies' had extremely thin skin, looking to becry their 'victim' status at the hands of a cabby. AFA the cabby goes, there is an old saying about 'never a good deed goes unpunished'. His being an immigrant with perhaps less than perfect English, is irrelevant to this story.
Two ax-handles across the ass qualifies as ‘big boned.’
Let’s hope that her last meal prior to that picture, did not include beans, beer, broccoli or cabbage!

Did you see the video? They didn’t show the woman’s full face but her partial face and hands were about normal. She isn’t skinny but has some curves. The driver was rude. Language barrier is NO excuse for his attitude.
The gal in your picture - no one can say she’s on the couch eating bon bons. She’s out having fun.
After dinner, no less, when they are at their heaviest. I wonder if they left gouges in the sidewalk as they ambled off the curb.
His vehicle could probably take the weight if they all had a nice deep enema first. Might blow out 30 lbs each.
I would say let’s investigate these big-bone womens as ta why they are so racist against that poor immigrant cab driver. But they may have a race card against that investigation now tht I think about it.

Remember Warho ‘s comment about ‘15 minutes of fame’? It now seems that so many people are willing to get their ‘15 minutes of fame’ through being a victim. The explosion of media coverage is the biggest cause.
