I totally agree. I’ve seen too many companies shut down because they couldn’t compete against someone employing illegals

Contempt of court and violating a federal judge’s order should, in a lot of cases, be grounds for awarding a medal. Especially when the courts and the judges trample on the Constitution. It’s the judges that should be thrown in the slammer not honorable men like Joe Arpaio.

Yes.

Sheriff Joe was persecuted for investigating Obama’s fake birth certificate. And, federal judges came after him for enforcing Arizona illegal alien laws.

Of course he should pardon Sheriff Joe. Absolutely. And given him an award.

Nooooo!

An immediate appeal of the judge's decision and challenge the original charges persued by the Lynch Justice Department!

If these judges don’t believe in upholding the law, this sets a very bad precedent. All the localities that have passed a law that LEOs can’t follow immigration law, then the ones that do can be convicted?

Court decision:

"The evidence at trial proves beyond a reasonable doubt and the Court finds that Judge (G. Murray) Snow issued a clear and definite order enjoining Defendant from detaining persons for further investigation without reasonable suspicion that a crime has been or is being committed; that Defendant knew of the order; and that Defendant willfully violated the order by failing to do anything to ensure his subordinates’ compliance and by directing them to continue to detain persons for whom no criminal charges could be filed," Bolton wrote in the ruling.

"Because the Court finds that Defendant willfully violated an order of the court, it finds Defendant guilty of criminal contempt."

My question is: Do Judges have the authority to order law enforcement officers to cease and desist performing the duties that are required of them by the laws of the county/state they work in? If Arpaio believed that Judge Snow's order was illegal, and violated the laws he took an oath to uphold, then he had every right to disobey it. To me it appears that the refusal to allow Arpaio to have a trial by jury, was a revenge motive to guarantee that he would be found guilty. I found this article about Judge Snow, who by the way was appointed by George W. Bush on the recommendation of John McCain, and Jon Kyl..."and green lighted by Senator Harry Reid who announced 'all Senators should be aware that this vote will occur very quickly…' ” There was no recorded confirmation vote. He was confirmed by unanimous consent agreement.

Politically motivated Judge refers Sheriff Arpaio, aides for prosecution?

"Contempt of court and violating a federal judge’s order should, in a lot of cases, be grounds for awarding a medal."

Obama refused on numerous occasions to comply with court orders, and nothing ever happened to him.

Absolutely.

This was all another vindictive witch hunt by the Obama administration.

Obama wanted open borders. Arpaio was enforcing the immigration laws.

He should have a prepared statement making a good argument that the case against the accused was overt judicial activism. If no good argument can be made to that effect, then he should not be pardoned. When judges stay within the law their rulings should not be second guessed by executives. But when they clearly overstep their authority their rulings should be mocked and ignored.

Bolton is a federal judge. That’s a lifetime appointment. Someone could begin impeachment proceedings. That is the only way to remove her from the bench. If impeached, she could then run for Congress, like Alcee Hastings did.
