Oh I get it. I am fully aware there are exceptions - perhaps you didn’t read “Yes it is a generalization...”
I don’t care because the generalization is accurate frequently enough that it provides a valuable filter for my hiring.
There is a social cost to having tats, especially certain types of tattoos. Many employers do not care, but many of us do. And since I determine who I hire, my opinion, like it or not, carries more weight than a few electrons.
I show up at an interview, I’ll be in a suit. No visible tats.
If the tats alone are enough to disqualify me, then it’s just your completely ignoring any other qualifications I have to cater to your personal bias.
It’s a free Country, you are perfectly within your Rights to be short sighted and silly.
Ive known tattooed people all my life. Some of the most amazing people I know have tattoos.
Yep..and if you find tattoos ugly ..they still look ugly.
I’ve know people without tattoos who were jerks,too.
Still i don’t like tattoos.
