Palin should win the case on the merits, but regardless of what happens in the legal setting the testimony of the NY Times editor needs to be trumpeted widely:

He is admitting to his stupidity, incompetence, and ignorance right there in the heart of the NY Times editorial processes.

The NY Slimes can and should be well thrashed based upon this testimony alone.
