Before "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda was slamming President Donald Trump he was thanking him on Twitter as recently as September 26. Since that very politically inconvenient tweet does not now fit into the current mainstream media and Democrat agenda to paint Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico as Trump's Katrina, Miranda found it necessary to send it down the memory hole via deleting it. Unfortunately for him, there is a screen shot of the tweet posted before the liberal effort went into overdrive to portray Trump as not caring about Puerto Rico.

The good thing is most people have wised up to this type of political opportunism and see it for what it really is. Democrats never letting a good crisis go to waste. As far as I am concerned if these people are to lazy to get up off there lazy arses and help themselves the let them die waiting for the federal government to do everything for them.

How about someone take the wayback machine, collect the post saying thank you and put it up all over the place on the Internet.
Puerto Rico was a disaster before the hurricane. They ARE bankrupt and that did not happen overnight. Their infrastructure was a disaster before the hurricane, at their own hands. There are over 10,000 Federal workers in Puerto Rico right now. Their harbors and airport have just been able to receive larger ships and planes. My guess is that Puerto Rico has to be completely rebuilt and the liberals want the American taxpayers to pay the bill AND do all the work. Democrats see another “disaster not to be wasted”.

Fine. What responsibility do we have to rebuild them? Isn’t there some cost sharing required? What about all the debt holders?
I wouldn’t mind helping them but if they are going to be ingrates let them rebuild their own island.

Most PR are Dems, but they are Americans, so we care about them a lot.
Problem is that Dems ran the place into debt, would not
accept many invites to become a state, and still they never wanted to be a Country on their own. Having it both ways, being American and getting goodies with paying full taxes was good for them.
While I want to see PR restored and the people safe, I am very impatient with their stringing Americans along and taking advantage of out good nature.
Time for PR to either be its own country or become a state. And no more freebees until they decide either way.
