Definitely a problem when the Department of Education has armed folks.
Maybe the Department of Education is afraid of being attacked by parents whose children turned out so stupid.

Because SWAT under a Sheriff places the para-military forces of Law Enforcement under an elected official at the local level as opposed to some nameless, unaccountable Washington bureaucrat.
To tell you the truth,after Obama,I’ve lost my faith in elected people.

Why local elected sheriff?
Because he is the “posse comitatus” ( power of the country) of the whole of the US. Show me any other LEA that is accountable to the people and not the government that forms them.....
Having read the remarks by us on this topic I think it is time for us to take control and make the job of sheriff and jobs of deputies be meaningful within the county. The reason we should do this is that the sheriff knows many people within the county and he is most apt to be the most sane of all police types. Deputies the same.
Sheriffs mostly are responsible to and for local folks. They very often know exactly what is going on in the local schools and bars. They do not tend to be hardnosed or tyranical. They are our neighbors. In some states they still collect taxes.
In any event, if some kind of bad stuff is coming down out here, I want my sheriff at my side. It would be nice if we had local police but they don’t work for free. State police are nice, but I don’t know any of them and they always give me the gimlet eye...maybe ‘cause I give them the eye first. I just don’t know. Not too friendly, no matter what.
Because the wheels set in motion by Obama to turn the US in to a police state are still in motion.
The Federal Government is still operating under the budget put in place by Obama (unilaterally).
These agencies have the money allocated to by the guns and ammunition and they are spending it.
Oh, we’ll get them back..
