The Pro Football Hall of Fame, consistent with its mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE,” will salute the military throughout the month of November. An admission special, programs, and events are among the many ways in which the Hall of Fame will honor our country’s heroes.
Through the generous support of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will provide free museum admission to all veterans and active military plus one guest throughout November.

They also have literally hundreds of flags planted on the property which I’ve never seen them do before. And it doesn’t look nice. It’s a cheap and desperate misuse of the flag.

That would be a good idea for a phone call to the HOF and ask if that was required for admittance. I may just do that tomorrow.

The City of Canton is really going to suffer with the drop in tourism dollars. The HOF is gearing up for their centennial celebration in 2020. I don’t think attendance will meet the league’s expectations. The damage they’ve inflicted upon themselves is irreparable.
More free stuff for we vets? Oh come on1 It was my privilege to serve, (1971-75 USN SS). I am owed nothing for doing it. Disabled service connected vets maybe, but not regular vets.
Uh, Professional football has spat upon the flag for which heroes have shed their life’s blood . . . they could not PAY me to go into that shrine to traitors.
NFL, I am slow to anger and even slower to forgive once angered. Your only option to win me back is to fire every player who disrespects our flag. No other option is available.
Free entrance into your self-congratulatory shrine is spit in the face of veterans who see your real colors when you reject freedom for all.
How ‘bout a Fresca?
Every Vet’s day my local talk radio show asks “What do we owe ALL vets who served?” I always call in and say “ I only give thanks to my country for giving me the opportunity to grow up, become productive and realize what an education could do for me. Besides the opportunity to see something other than NW Western PA, become terrified and become a winner. You don’t owe me NOTHING.” They get get subdued.
That’s EXACTLY what it looks like. And if I recall correctly, they went up just after President Trump weighed in and things heated up. Weak sauce.
