Sorry kids, you have to get a job and work hard either way. At least in capitalism, your hard work is rewarded though.

[U.S. millennials would prefer to live under socialism than capitalism]

A professor in a political science class I took a few years ago asked that very question. All raised their hand that they would like to live in a socialist country except for four adults.

Progressive educators have achieved their objectives.

"At the risk of being flamed, as a Millennial, I only ask who taught them that socialism was great."

Fair point. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, income redistribution, and government involvement in directing the economy through the central bank all meet the classic definition of socialist policy. They have become part of the American fabric of life. Why would the millennial generation think otherwise. The baby boomers have taught their children well

Quite honestly, I’m surprised the numbers for socialism aren’t higher.

“Millennials would prefer to live in a socialist country”

Of course. It’s a perfect society for slackers. Why wouldn’t they prefer that?

Growing up with helicopter parents, they have no idea what independence is.

At the risk of being flamed, as a Millennial, I only ask who taught them that socialism was great.

This is a good question but I thought everyone knew all liberal and many regular colleges are now indoctrination centers and not the education centers they used to be.

This shift from education to indoctrination is probably the best reason to find another way to educate. The leftist Marxists have infested our schools from K- on up, the news media, hollyweird (or pedowood as I call it), and other venues ruining them as well.

Marxists killed and purged over 100 million of their own citizens during the early part of the last century. Sometimes I think how great it would be if a reverse purge could happen. Well, maybe if the fascist commie group, Antifa, gets their way and starts CWII; it might just happen up to a point.

There's no question the world would be a better place without them in it.

Remember all those crazy commie kids from East Germany back in the 50’s and 60’s who would play chicken with the Border Guards and risk getting their legs blown off as they ran across minefields to get out of a Socialist Paradise? Or tunneling under walls, crashing through barriers and hundreds of other ways to get out from under the thumb of the communists? And these snowflakes today want to live under these failed systems? This country is DOOMED!

I’m all for anything that reduces the number of Marxists in this country. I’d even be willing to pay a “Stupid Millennial Emigration” tax, so long as they’d all be gone in 5 years.

Those Snowflakes currently “Think” or “Believe” they would prefer to live in a socialist country, but once heavy yoke of socialism was imposed upon and against them and what they want in life, they would be much less then happy about it. It’s easy to believe in utopia and fantasy when living freely and comfortably, but it’s another thing when it becomes reality and it turns out that you are the slave of the system that rations your existence and gives you no freedom of choice to live free or die, its only command being live as we say and die upon command. Freedom isn’t free and socialism isn’t freedom, nor is freedom found in communism, nazism or islamism.

Prof should ask that question, then tell all the students who raised their hands that their grades will all be averaged together, while the ones who didn’t are free to earn their own grade.
