I completely agree.

She is under their laws in their country.

20 years seems light for Zimbabwe. Maybe they can lengthen that while she’s being tried. Heck, they could make it a death penalty for a day for only her.

It doesn’t work that way here.

No, she won’t become an ally. I guarantee it.

Like it or not the European’s really had no choice but to leave Africa, sadly the natives simply went back to their uneducated, tribal, and brutal ways and burned much of the work to modernize the continent, particularly the interior parts of sub saharan Africa to the ground...

Only in the last 5 or 10 years does there finally appear to be some small, but consistent movement toward improvement socioeconomically for most of that part of the continent.

Stick around and be slaughtered by angry natives who don’t know any better, or leave? Self determinism is great, but when you have a ignorant and largely uneducated population, self determination is generally going to put you on a destructive path.

Mugabe is no small time offender, he may not be as savvy as other dictators, but his regime is just as destructive to his people as any other on the planet.

I don’t doubt that. He is a totally brutal thug.

But in terms of people arrested for dissent, Erdogan has the largest number arrested or put out of a job. More journalists are arrested in Turkey than any other nation.

You never know, it just might be her epiphany. I certainly am not banking on it though. 8>)
