Why does Amazon consider this homeowner a customer?? Is Amazon going to send the homeowner a poooper scooper?
We’re in a rural area and the USPS has a long history of bad delivery incidents.
They finally seemed to be getting their act together, recently, once Amazon and USPS had additional route drivers installed JUST to deliver Amazon.
They’ve now hired temps (USPS) who’ve decided to just leave packages on top of, next to, somewhat near mailboxes, as they’re too lazy to actually open the mailbox or, horrors, drive up to the front door to leave the package.
Our mailbox is rounded, so the temporary driver just said ‘to heck with it’ and left a message w/Amazon saying wouldn’t fit in box. It was a tiny box. First time USPS has ever NOT driven up to the door to leave mail w/ oversized OR any sized packages.
Funny note. Amazon listed the phone numbers of ALL of their delivery companies they contract with, including USPS. Have you ever tried to get a live person on a call to USPS? Almost impossible.
The very foreign sounding Amazon C/S rep I spoke with had no problem, though. He put me on hold for a minute while he called the USPS...to tell them to redeliver my package. I asked him if I could please have that special USPS phone number :)
He also assured me my delivery concerns would soon be completely alleviated. That soon...very soon....drones will be delivering Amazon packages with record speeds.
I can’t wait!
Yuck.
That’s the norm here(Southeast Alaska). Everything comes in the mail regardless of how it leaves the warehouse.
It’s real out there. I know. I drive a cab.
Curse Subway and its refusal to provide city-mandated restrooms, btw.
Calexit.
Have not had one single issue with Amazon deliveries or any others, though we often use our PO box. Chewy.com always amazes me at how they get stuff here so quickly.
Thanks for letting me know how fortunate we apparently are.

A UPS driver left a package that my wife had ordered that had about $400 worth of clothing out in the driveway in a heavy rainstorm last week.

>> “So what is she now doing for Amazon?” <<
Delivering urine samples?
Sacto is almost as bad as Seattle in this respect.

What?
You went to Scrubway for an imitation baloney sandwich?
Colored soybeans!
.
Good that everything’s electronic...for the customers.
I’ve had a UPS Store mailbox for years.
It’s been worth every dime.
I have almost nothing delievered home.
There were a lot of Trump signs everywhere in Sacramento last year. Of course, the MSM would never tell anyone. President Trump lost the CA popular vote because of voter fraud. Don’t tell anyone!
#36 Or Kitchen Sink.
Amazon treats their employees poorly.
I’m guessing that’s what happened. Besides, she wouldn’t want to have happen to her, the thing that happened to the guy in episode 1 of Netflix “Chewin’ The Fat”, now would she? (At about 09:03 in the episode)
Maybe the customer accidentally checked the box that says would you like the driver to crap on the sidewalk before leaving?
Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go.
That gift card better be for than $10 bucks.
Well if the customer had signed up for that the driver could have used the bathroom, then had a snack out of the kitchen before she left.
