I had second thoughts and worried through the night that I had gone too far. I guess any heavenly damage (possible blasphemy of the baby Jesus) has already been done and so I'll just let it go.

Jesus will conquer his enemies with the sword of his mouth and otherwise didn't carry a weapon that we know about, let at least Peter carry a sword and told the others to go and buy one when he was ready to ascend. I take that to mean they should defend themselves for just cause and not let people trample all over them unless they were specifically called to martyrdom.. Just my take on it.
