I have seen about half of the movies on this list.
The following are my favorite 1950’s movies that are missing:
North By Northwest
On the Waterfront
Paths of Glory

Haven’t seen Sayonara, I don’t think, but TCM is my favorite channel. Loves me some old movies!

I’ve seen 17 that I can swear to.
Two I think I did, but not certain - Sayonara & Peyton Place
No to Giant, which has been on my mental watch list for years. I guess now is the time

All of them except Sayanora and Demetrius and the Gladiators. I’d never even heard of those two.

No Shane, High Noon, The Gunfighter? Forbidden Planet? They didn't make the top 20 of box office revenue.

>> Demetrius and the Gladiators Julie Newmar. Dancing. Hubba hubba

It’s probably not close to that list, but 1957’s A Face In The Crowd is an excellent movie. Definitely more relevant than when it was first released.

Only 11 on this list, so many missing that I would have spent money on to see. The late 50’s was a bad time to see movies for me. The show would start and 20 minutes later I was too busy to watch it. So although I went to the drive in a lot, I don’t remember most of the pictures I saw there. The windows got foggy on me most of the time.

19 out of 20. The exception being Payton Place.
To: Simon Green
I believe I’ve seen all of them. Some more than once.
