Indeed.
Trump needs to draw some inspiration from the first Republican president, Abe Lincoln, and fire his losing, cowardly General, now.
He needs a Grant as his AG, but has a McClellan, instead.
Eventually, people are going to take their eyes off Sessions and cast them toward Trump, wondering who or what can possibly be keeping the president from taking any action on Sessions. It’s coming. Trump is going to get some heat, if something doesn’t give.
The FBI has been reshaped under Obama and Eric Holder and all the pieces remain in place and in the building, but for the two or three re-shuffled down the hall.
There’s going to be a lot of heat on Sessions now that he’s essentially cost us a Senate Seat.
A lot of people (including me) have already openly wondered why Trump doesn't fire Sessions, or force him to resign.
Call it a gut instinct, but I sense that this is a weak spot for Trump. I've heard that he greatly values loyalty, but in this case, such value is far outweighed by the extreme potential for liability with this employee.
Again, Trump needs to take a lesson from Lincoln, and get rid of this General before he loses the war.

Yeah, posted earlier that moving Sessions to AG was the mistake. And Trump must recognize that.
Obama also shaped Alobama.

He certainly seems to be holding the lead in that race.
Off hand, I can’t think of who has proven to be a greater albatross hanging around one president’s neck than hapless Jeff Sessions hangs on Trump.
It’s the oddest thing I ever saw, considering Jeff’s conduct and competence in the US Senate, and his obvious pride and joy in DJT and his courage to back him, when it wasn’t cool to do so in Washington, DC.
Now, we see that Sessions has been a disaster. His bumbling recusal and testosterone free tenure, at JD, has turned both the hen house and the White House over to the snarling foxes, seeking impeachment.
