On the 30th of December the American journalist, on the topical BBC TV show Dateline London, stryker McGuire made the simple association that President Trump supporters, at least 'the base', should be likened to Al Quida,

with a mini guffaws from another panelist, this is the depth of unbiased journalism that is peddled not just nationally, but internationally. Like the Dixie Chicks before him, Stryker McGuire feels he can say what he wants about America from across the pond.

That ties the all-time low temperature ever recorded here in North Carolina. -34, January 21, 1985, atop Mt. Mitchell. Don’t know what the lows have been there recently, but the forecast low for tomorrow night through the rest of the week is low single digits to zero with gale force winds. Coldest I’ve ever personally experienced here has been -10 and that was bad enough. Coldest in my life was in MN, -40. I honestly don’t know how people live in with that for an entire winter.

I lived in Central Indiana in 1982, with wood/coal for heat when the temperature fell to -25. Brutal.

Oil froze in the cars, main water to the house froze out in the ground. No water for 8 weeks.

My middle grandson's an Army Brat, born at Fort Riley Kansas in February. We stayed at a hotel in nearby Manhattan. On the day he was born it was -10. My wife and I were happy for the heated seats in our rental. 😀

Several days below minus 20 here the last weeks or so. Hit minus 29.6 at one point last week.

I’m worried about oil delivery and supply, they are so backed up that it’s now 10 days to schedule a delivery, and you can burn through a lot of oil in that time.
