He won two elections by default when his opponent dropped out because of his sleazy campaigning. He rode a media-frenzy wave against a dreadful candidate, and cowered behind a media-protected campaign against an even worse candidate. He then proceeded to lose both the House and Senate, as well as state government positions, his entire two terms. His supposed shoe-in replacement candidate got electorally landslided by a political rookie, partly because of his "legacy."
Tell me one thing he knows about "building a brand?"
The Democrats really need to get Hillary out there to help them win some seats.

I think Poppy Bush will go in a blaze of glory. He will be revered when he goes as a Great Moderate (ever seen the coffee table book, Great Moderates Throughout History? It’s thinner than the Monday NYT).
