Consider that Eisenhower was an amateur politician. He hadn’t served his time in Democrat politics and so they’d never nominate him. This is the party that thought Adali Stevenson would be such a good idea they nominated that stiff twice. So why not pick-off the Republican nomination, which must have been easy since the FDR years had demoralized them a ton?
Obama will be in the middle of the pack. The problem with Obama was that he was likable by half the country. A worst President is hated by 100 percent of the population.

Andrew Johnson is #1 worst - Wilson close 2nd. Wilson pushed for the League of Nations before running it by the US Senate and confirming the bill would pass. This eventually led to the rise of the Nazis.
