THE Jackass crew mesmerised and shocked the world with their hilarious and, at times, truly dangerous stunts.
The likes of Johnny Knoxville, born Philip John Clapp Jr, became superstars in the process but it led many of them down a path of alcoholism, drug dependency and even suicidal thoughts.
The series showcased wild stunts in a world before iPhones, social media and YouTube, airing for two years and eventually morphing into nine films and four spin-offs. But once the cameras stopped rolling, several of the shows stars were left severely injured and suffering from substance abuse problems and truly discovered just how dark fame can be.
Ryan Dunn, a fixture on the show, was killed in 2011 when he crashed his Porsche in a drunken-driving accident. (picture below of what was left of his Porsche. His passenger, Zachary Hartwell, also was killed.

You see this all the time in Hollywood. Unless they are psychically very strong, Hollywood twists and alters people. And some of them have been there so long, and twisted for so long, that they think their delusions are reality. Barbara Streisand, Cher, Rosie O’Donnell, etc., were all deformed by fame.

Poor babies. I know people who just worked industrial jobs for their whole life who ended up the same way, but without Porsches to crash.
The world would be better off if every one of that crew had offed themselves before they had a chance to reproduce.
It's not that the highway was 55mph, it's that the exit he decided to take a millisecond too late was like 30mph.
