Add this to the list of decisions affected by climate change: Should I have children?
It is not an easy time for people to feel hopeful, with the effects of global warming no longer theoretical, projections becoming more dire and governmental action lagging. And while few, if any, studies have examined how large a role climate change plays in people’s childbearing decisions, it loomed large in interviews with more than a dozen people ages 18 to 43.
A 32-year-old who always thought she would have children can no longer justify it to herself. A Mormon has bucked the expectations of her religion by resolving to adopt rather than give birth. An Ohio woman had her first child after an unplanned pregnancy — and then had a second because she did not want her daughter to face an environmental collapse alone.
Among them, there is a sense of being saddled with painful ethical questions that previous generations did not have to confront. Some worry about the quality of life children born today will have as shorelines flood, wildfires rage and extreme weather becomes more common. Others are acutely aware that having a child is one of the costliest actions they can take environmentally.

Reading this article and seeing these folk's unfounded fears just proves critical thinking is lost to many.
If people are that stupid then they frankly should not reproduce.
Those people don’t need to breed anyway.
Good. They all deserve Darwin awards for being stupid.
This is why a steady flow of illegal immigration is so important to their leadership.

That ‘folks’ choose to have no children is NOT due to Climate Change.
Before CC was even acknowledged, the choice was to have no children due to THE FREAKING GOVERNMENT and knowing that the nation was beyond all hope. Civics Class (early 1960s) will do that to an individual. Nothing remains the same and EVERYTHING disappearing tomorrow remains a distinct possibility. The talk of Oaths and values in our Constitution was possible for another time; certainly NOT ours.

Do any of these idiots have concerns, about Muslim terror and bringing up children in a world in which we suffer Muslim terror? Do they ever consider that Muslim terror is a greater more immediate threat than global warming????
This is just the latest episode in keeping the hoax alive.
The most beautiful and happy families I’ve seen have both biological AND adopted children.
Just an excuse to carry on with their self centered lifestyle.
