Considering how Papa John’s sales cratered, Pizza Hut is taking quite a chance. Once the word propagates a little more, they may feel the burn.
Way back when Ed McMahon was advertising Pizza Hut on the Tonight Show and the chain was rapidly expanding, it was pizza that was so skimpy on toppings that it was like eating a pizza flavored potato chip. Later when the chain added pan pizza at least one would get plenty of crust and Pam.
When I lived in El Salvador I often ate at the Pizza Hut in the Zona Rosa and it was better than US Pizza Huts. I haven’t set foot in a Pizza Hut for years now.
Just didn’t care for it. Thought it might explain Chicongo’s high murder rate. 8-0
I agree.
Haven’t had a Papa Gino’s in a while though too many mom and pop places around to consider a chain pizza.
