Conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter is coming to the University of Colorado later this month to speak at an event hosted by the Boulder campus' chapter of Turning Point USA.
Coulter is scheduled to appear at 7 p.m. March 21 in Chem 140, according to a Facebook post by conservative group Turning Point USA.
The event is free, and tickets will be distributed next week on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Coulter also appeared at CU in 2003, and spoke about the Iraq War before a crowd of about 2,000 people at Macky Auditorium.

I know is a liberal hotbed, but it’s important to give credit where it’s due. They have very vocal about promoting true free speech. I bet it doesn’t get shut down.
I saw Charleton Heston speek there about 20 years ago. The police kept the leftists separated from the attendees, but two leftists got in and disrupted his speech. I think that the left has become more emboldened under 0bama. I think it will get shut down. I hope I am wrong.

Much of the article is about the secrecy of the venue, to impede those planning attacks. Our local agitators on the left are very outgunned (literally); but anyone attending would be well-advised to park several blocks away to avoid vandalism to motor vehicles.
?Boulder is a communist shit hole?! Progressive communist air heads sure. Yet not a shit hole. The western half of Boulder County is absolutely beautiful. And there are lots of sports medicine doctors and lots of healthy people living in Boulder. Boulder is a very healthy place. If you do not talk to the Boulderites about social issues you will find that the natural beauty of the area is most wonderful.
They will probably try but CU is trying to avoid the enormous loss of credibility that institutions like UC Berkeley have suffered by allowing all conservative speech to be shut down. They may at least not impose a stand down order on police.
I don’t know that CU Boulder is much different than Berkley. Boulder and their politics is pretty stupid left. I hope Ann can speak. Wonder if Vegas has odds on it.
That’s not far away from me but I wouldn’t set foot in Boulder for anything less than a free gold bar.

God Dad! I graduated from the University of Denver in 1973, and CU Boulder was loaded with protesters and libs even back then!
By using the tag “conservative” they intend to send a message to the hateful bastards who do not believe in free speech: shut her down.
They do not use the tags “liberal,” “marxist,” “America-hating” when speaking of their own.
The only right tag for us is “normal.”

BTW, my dad and uncles graduated from DU. In the 1940s and 1950s. We are a Colorado family all the way back to the 1800s.
That’s neat. My family is also a Colorado pioneer family. My great grandparents settled in Salida in 1858 and my grandfather graduated from CU in 1903.
