Lots of companies and industries have ‘awards’ ceremonies... but NOT for hours and hours on TV... I’m amazed anyone watches the haters...
You’re right - the show should be a ‘gun free zone’... put a sign on the door saying ‘no guns allowed’... like our public schools and Universities do...
Much like the “Golden Eunuchs” (aka Oscars) I have never watched Dancing with the Stars.

Seacrest’s career could be easily destroyed based on nothing but an unproved accusation. Unfair and unwise.
At first it was sorta okay - I only watch it because gram’s likes it so I watch it with her. Last couple of times she just snorted and smirked at the dancers so I guess it’ll be over with her as well.
I feel the same way. Movies aren’t as good as they used to be and the actors are a lot less likable than the stars of 20+ years ago. I used to go to the movies 15-20 times a year and now maybe 3 times a year.

Seacrest wasn’t it. They were just tired of the ole “I HATE TRUMP” jokes. People already expect it so why put up with this sh*t.
Do away with the snarky hosts, limit the acceptance speeches to “Thank You”, nominate films I might actually watch and I might be interested. Nahhhhh!
You would think but l wonder. Every night half the country is insulted but it never stops.
Still, 32 million is a lot of eyeballs.
At its peak, American Idol pulled in 30 million.

Who sounds dumber and more out of touch while pontificating about issues they don’t really understand - the average Hollyweirdo, or the average Miss USA/Miss Universe contestant?
Part of the problem is some films are not in full release until after Christmas, so many have not seen the nominees...........
Watched it the other night. Still hilarious after almost 40 years.
