“The NRA is a really powerful machine that doesn’t allow dialog about gun violence,” said Sando."

How can the NRA prohibit dialog about gun violence? I hate this guy already.

What the hell is an heirloom bean? Is it a bean that is passed on down through generations?

"Heirloom" varieties of seeds and plants are something like that: they're at least supposedly old and unmodified. People are interested in them for a number of possible reasons.

I think of "heirloom tomatoes." Supermarket tomatoes, so we hear, are bred more for things like how well they ship than how good they taste, and one main reason that people buy heirloom tomato plants and seeds is to grow tastier tomatoes at home.

Heirloom Dicks is another matter. How many old ladies will give up their Heirloom Dicks.

Tip your waitstaff as you leave.

LOL, I wanted to post the “Oh Noes” gif...

The guy probably has signs in his establishment for “Fair Trade Coffee Beans” or something like that.

Just another leftist scumbag trying to make money and publicity off of dead children.

It is what they do.

Fine and dandy because your beans will be stalks by the time UPS gets them there.

Black Crimean from Laurels Heirlooms. Best tomato I have ever grown and best flavor bar none.

5th one down. It will make you cry out of sheer joy. On a BLT... You don’t even notice the bacon.

They’re latter-day bible thumpers, but all thump and no bible.

Assuming that he was using FedEx because they provided the best value for the dollar. How much more is he willing to play to play his silly little game?

With a name like Rancho Gordo New World Specialty Food, he'd never see me as a customer. The "New World" sounds too Marxist and then there's the conflict between "new" and "heirloom."

He's selling pinto beans for $5.95/lb plus $12 shipping for a total of $17.95. Hahahahaha! Just go to the grocery store and pick up a pound bag for .75. You want unusual beans? Pick up a grocery store bag of a bean soup mix for a few cents more and you've got maybe a dozen different varieties to plant or eat.

Yes, for those who don't garden, a dried bean is the seed.

“How much more is he willing to play to play his silly little game?”

Were it me, learning of an NRA member discount, I’d pony up the $30 for a membership and pay $450,000 per year instead of $500,000.

Steve Sando , founder of Rancho Gordo, an heirloom bean company, shows off the "Good Mother Stallard" bean Wednesday April 13, 2011, in Napa, Calif.

His pic fits his profile.

Preppers buy heirloom seeds. Preppers treasure the 2A.

Pretty direct correlation for what might happen for this guy’s business.

That, and what dialog have we missed about gun violence? You know, the dialog the the NRA has not allowed? Has the NRA somehow magically violated someone’s right to free speech.

If this guy is eating what he is selling then it may not be to good for his health. Did you notice how much he appears to have aged from the 2011 picture until the 2018 shot?

If you do a garden get the Black Krims. Lots of meat and little goo, but the flavor, it is like a tomato on steroids. The sauce you can make from them, the BLT’s the tomato salads.... you will thank me.
