My sister and I are the products of a broken home, where our dad walked away from us, and it DESTROYS the family!
I’m amazed, gobsmacked, by how many cretinous Freepers are posting as if this were no big deal...it’s unbelievable.
I hope to God none of them are cheating on their wives and posting balms of sufferage because they want the same tolerance for their affairs from God.

Nawp, I agree with you wholly.
My landlord cheated on his wife and kids and left them, never went back, and it destroyed their family.
My plumber cheated on his wife...his daughter saw him and his mistress driving down the street to a motel, that’s how the family found out...he left them, married his mistress and it just destroyed the their family.,
I don’t think his son has talked to him to this day, and that was 15+ years ago, for the damage out did to those poor kids.

Disobedience to God has consequences and what Jesse did has grave consequences.
He just brought a curse onto himself and his family.
If he is smart he will crawl back to his wife and children and beg for a chance to make amends and keep his family together.
I feel deeply sorry for him because he just brought a huge amount of pain to himself, his wife, and his children.

Yes, but "leaving her and your children for another man" is great, and can even land you in a top-half-of-the-front-page feature story in the local rag (like happened in my city), with many congratulatory comments from the reporters who celebrated this man's actions. Things like "No longer living a lie" and "being true to one's self" and the like.
I sent a letter to the editor asking why they didn't seek out comments from the wife or young children. I said I'd always thought that a broken home was still a broken home, regardless of whether Daddy left Mommy for another woman or for another man??
In any case...say it isn't so, Jesse!
