STUPID THREAD!
Since when did Lab-grown meat become "Human Meat?" Was the ambiguous description part of useless gossip rag?

Good grief!

From the excerpt:

“The question of whether people would eat artificially created human flesh has been raised before.”

I hear demonrat is stringy and you need lots of bbq sauce to cover the taste. And they carry diseases.

"What if human meat is grown? Could we overcome our taboo against cannibalism?”

Why grow it when you can just harvest it?

No. And I won’t knowingly or willingly eat any “meat” made in a lab. Next stupid question?

I imagine, though, human lab meat might take off among a certain perverse class of people who have become common and bold lately.

By the way — did I wake up this morning in the 21st century in an alleged Judaeo-Christian civilization? I know — that doesn’t necessarily mean anything anymore.

If I were snowbound in Truckee or stranded on top of the Andes I would.

They call it the World Wide Web. You can e-mail anyone!

Not only will some people consume human shmeat, there will probably be celebrities marketing shmeat cultivated from their own cells.

A fan of Madonna? Throw a slab of her on the grill! It may be a novelty but I don’t think human shmeat will be very popular compared to shmeat versions of traditional meats.

Shmeat will be very lean if desired, free of parasites, hormones, antibiotics and disease. The meat we get today, produced in high-speed slaughterhouse conditions from terrified animals who’ve been caged indoors all their lives, is not in any way natural or wholesome.

Oh yes. She used to do a shampoo commercial.

She’s probably a rabid liberal - Justine Miceli

But yes, she was very pretty.

It’s the knuckleheads who are always “pushing boundaries” and claiming enlightenment as a goal when their real goal is just to tear down the functional civilization of individualist freedom lovers and supplant it with what will turn out to be a dystopian nightmare for the vast majority but which they as individuals feel they’ll have some superior stature for they and their progeny to enjoy...
