A prominently displayed sign at all three Tombstone Unified School District campuses is getting a lot of attention.
The decision to post a warning at the entrance of the school sites Some TUSD staff may be armed and will use whatever force necessary to protect our students was made by TUSD Superintendent Robert Devere.
This is nothing more than one small piece of school safety that we have in place on our campuses, Devere said. Were interested in keeping our kids safe. What Ive seen on Facebook has been overwhelmingly positive.
Check back for more updates, and read the full story tomorrow in the Herald/Review.
TUSD Superintendent Robert Devere should be saluted as a brave patriot.
This is common sense.
That is outstanding.
Get rid of the “may be armed”, though, and replace with “are armed”. No ambiguity.
Of course.
But at this point in our country’s history, he is putting his career, and possibly his life, on the line by not only implementing this policy, but advertising it.
Brave, smart man.
Folks if you have not been to Tombstone, it is a lovely small town with wonderful folks who make you proud to live in Arizona. My wife and I took the kids and had a wonderful breakfast chat with folks in town at a B&B. Then just enjoying the small tourist area and walking around. We love Tombstone!
Tombstone: The Town Too Tough TO Die
The university where I teach has the same sign. We know who each other are.
Do they have an OK CORRAL Elementary School? If not, then they should just to make libtard heads explode.
“I’m your huckleberry....”
A line that needs added, “You’re NEXT RESIDENCE MAY BE BOOT HILL!
Oh my, that and probably other things in contrast to how the criminal Robert Runcie (and others) run things in Broward County.
(Go ahead and make our day)
THAT is more like it!!!
Get this...back in the day when the OK Corral happened, the town was a NO GUN ZONE!
The very reason the OK Corral happened. That and it was a big buildup going on for a year or so.
But make no mistake, Virgil Earp and co went down there to disarm the cowboys.
Matter of fact, many towns had a no firearms policy. Yet they were the most dangerous places to be.
