But I guess words don’t mean things anymore, any more than X & Y chromosomes mean anything anymore.

Printed in 1884, I have a two-volume English dictionary that describes
perasty. It also appears in my 1953 College dictionary.
Like "Mohammedism", perasty is missing in all my other dictionaries.
