FWIW, I was the kid who was left out, always called on last, endured insults, and ignored. In the sixth grade I realized there was a “club”, and I wasn’t in it. Only club members could do things. From that point on, I dropped out of school culture as much as possible. Then, on March 26, 1971 (11th grade) Christ became personal to me. Even so, when I graduated high school, as we were leaving the ceremony during the processional, I promised myself that I would never voluntarily be around that class ever again.
To this day, I am friends with certain individuals, but will never attend any reunions or gatherings of those people.
The principal is a bully, they protect their own.
I was bullied in school...badly. My crime...I was quiet and shy.
I was too. I couldn’t stand being around most kids and they picked up on it.
