I hear ya, and I’m well aware that many of the international carriers have near-supermodel flight attendants (and the U.S. and some Euro operators are actually unique in their apparent disregard for looks or age as a hiring criteria). At the same time, if I’m stuck in a cramped coach seat for a long-haul flight, I don’t care how hot the stewardesses are. If I’m going >8 hours, I need to be comfortable. And once you’ve had a fully flat seat, it’s hard to go back.
