President Trump Didn't Sign G7's Leftist Agenda — Smart Move

G7: President Trump created a quite a stir among the other Western leaders by refusing to sign the "communique" that capped the G7 summit. But he was right to do so.

This is once again being styled as the crude, unnuanced American president refusing to accommodate himself to the much wiser leaders of Europe.

In fact, he wisely refrained from signing what was an empty, far-left political document, which is typical of the G7 "consensus" that American presidents have gone along with for decades.

We're indebted to Susan Jones of CNSNews.com who pored over the entire tedious document from the Charlevoix G7 Summit in Canada to extract the nuggets.

It held a panoply of meaningless leftist buzzwords that the U.S. was supposed to embrace, including "such phrases as 'sustainable development,' 'gender equality and women's empowerment,' 'fair' and 'progressive' tax systems, a 'level playing field,' 'affordable healthcare,' a 'healthy planet,' and 'quality work environments.' "

None of those thing, by the way, have anything whatsoever to do with government. As a matter of fact, intervention of incompetent governments makes most of those things measurably worse.

All told, the communique contains 27 points made in five major sections. All of them enlighten citizens around the world about how to think about everything, from gender and jobs to peace and climate change.

The leadership of the nations allied with the U.S. come up short. They've ridden the anti-Trump wave of the so-called Progressives, rolling their eyes at his comments and acting as if he, not they, are the problem.

So the G7 communique is the Globalist's version of those HR trainings employers force employees to sit through and sign off on.

The difference this time, our President works for us and he believes it.

Absolutely no reason for the G8. That Russia is not a part of this is ridiculous. All these other countries are working WITH Russia despite the so called sanctions.

I distinctly remember that “Level Playing Field” blather from Obama.

All the blacks & Liberals heard:

I get a new car!
I get free gas!
I get a better place to live on Section 8
I get free groceries!

I heard:
Obama WILL NOT raise the level of those on the bottom portion.
Obama will tear down those at the top portion.

I was right.

Altho-—Obama did give out millions of Obamaphones——which need to be reviewed. I know people who have them who should NOT qualify as such.

This is, indeed, a program that needs to be revaluated and possibly cut way back or even ended.

I am in intake interviewer at a local non-profit food bank. I talk with folks all the time who have 'obamaphones.' There is supposed to be a limit of one phone per family.

Last week I interviewed a single mother (most are) and her three teenager kids. When I asked about the phone bill amount (it had been left blank on the info sheet) one of the kids volunteered that each of them had a phone. That's four phones (which you and I are paying for*) when there should have been only one (which you and I are paying for*). This abuse must be stopped.

The rest of the story: the mother also has three other younger kids who were on the info sheet but not present. I asked about them and the mother said a neighbor was babysitting the youngsters. I asked if they had phones also. The Mom said, "No, they're too young to use a phone. But when they get a little older..."

“This whole G7 thing gets better and better! PDJT is the man. His word is his bond and he’s delivering!”

after reading that leftist garbage, it makes me wonder if Trump was simply scapegoating Justin Trudeau because he had no intent on signing it anyway, or maybe he actually had a chance to read it on his airplane and changed his mind, conveniently blaming Justin ... either way, i’m fine with it ...
