I feel bad for them, but they should expect this, as it is the most active volcano in the world.

what did they think would happen?

obama's from there and I don't think he's ever slept with a woman. Would that count?

So ... Trump’s visit will be a case of visiting the scene of the crime? Got to be his fault in some manner, at least by the views of the LEFT!

Thankfully, there have been no fatalities as a result of the current Kilauea eruption, although experts note that, on a global basis, lives are regularly lost as a result of volcanic activity.

“Madame Pele is angry!! We need virgins now! Isn’t there anybody!!?”

Well, if this request was being made prior to the leftie revolution of the last 50 years, in which the womyn became pussyhat wearing, baby-sacrificing sexpots, maybe so. But not now. Pele is out of luck.

Yup, other than the fact that the image referenced isn’t accurate.

It is probably already illegal to throw garbage into a volcano in the USofA.

That is a great graphic and it does an excellent job of putting this volcano into the proper perspective.

I love the big island of Hawaii and I may still live there someday after I retire. It is a massive island though. The landscape varies from rain forest to almost a desert environment. Parts of the island look like the ranchlands of Texas. People don't realize how big it is until they've been on it. The volcano we are discussing here is but a speck. 99% of the population is unaffected.

So what happens to the homeowners after this? You can rebuild after other natural disasters but that doesn’t look to be an option in this situation. I imagine this area is going to be a rocky hardened lava field for the next several hundred years at least. So do the homeowners just lose everything? Or will Hawaii buy back the property at pre-volcano values so they can relocate?
