Don’t you realize you will be at much greater risk when fighting starts than from a bumper sticker. I have doubts that someone who is not willing to put on a bumper sticker would be willing to fight in street combat. Could you clear that up, please?

A Navy Seal or Army Ranger would be vulnerable to a lone terrorist as they can be unexpectedly attacked at a marathon, random shooting, etc. They would be targets for looking American (whatever that may mean now). ie like having that bumper sticker makes one a target.

In a war, where you expect to be attacked, a elite soldier may easily take on a half dozen individuals.

This is pretty basic stuff. But I guess it's the byproduct of our not having been in an actual war in a long time.
