One of the most obvious reasons for the failure of Hillary Clinton to win the presidency in 2016 stems from the former Secretary of State’s longstanding reputation as one of the most corrupt and crooked politicians of our modern era.
Clinton, who rose to power at her husband’s side, has long been on the shadowy, clandestine side of American political theater, having founded The Clinton Foundation as a charitable organization through which the former First Lady could funnel illicit funds and wield power from behind the virtue signaling shield of philanthropy. Of course, it only took a few decades for the internet and some intrepid insiders at the democratic party to expose the surly and scandalous witch, effectively derailing her hopes of every working on The Beltway again.
Of course, we mustn’t ever forget that Hillary Clinton is also an incredibly powerful and dangerous woman, who has outlived nearly every one of the enemies that she has made in her turbulent career in public office.

I was with some people this weekend and three, at separate times swore me to secrecy, then informed me they voted for against Hillary for the reasons in this article.
They are democrats and could not stand her .

Narcissists are very good at manipulating others, and when you feel that you are so special that whatever you do to promote yourself is justified, you can become very, very dangerous.

I would like to correct one aspect of this.
It isn’t that people are willing to die for the Clintons but that they must know others will kill them if they really really step out of line. The Clintons don’t even have to be directly involved if that’s the case. Everyone is implicated is the thought.
I would suggest that if that’s the case there must also be a common belief that they’ll be protected as long as they play ball. That way the whole thing operates more like the old Mafia rather than the paranoid atmosphere of Stalinist Russia.
There has simply never been anything like made men turning States witness against the mob when it comes to the Clintons.
I should point out that being willing to go to jail for the team does happen (not as much now as in the 90s, and even then precious little). It probably helps that the sort of jails these people are sent to, minimum security, are the basis for Club Fed notions. Or as I’ve longed joked, Club Fed is so nice because politicians realize that they or people they care about may go there ... so of course they’re gone be expensively appointed.
And this is just the White House Bodyguard List.
If he is really a competent counter-terrorism expert he might turn the tables. I wouldn’t assume he is unarmed...

Great points. You may have hit on the main reason why people will kill for them. Fear of what will happen to their families. All they had to do was get a few people as evil as they are to perform the the first few murders then others fell in line.
I personally know people who heard him say about a man who pissed him off “I want that MF dead” when he was governor. No politician would say something like that unless there was a possibility. The man didn’t end up dead. But he did end up in prison and financialy ruined. All for asking a question at a very small campaign stop that put Clinton on the spot.
Finally, I believe the politicians know they and/or their families could die. Then a man came along who doesn’t fear them. Them again, Hillary is still free.
