If the news was good, we’d have heard about it bigtime.
I suspect that season ticket sales have suffered. I also wonder if we don’t see a bunch of fan protests this season, organized events of people showing up with a plan.
I will likely never attend an NBA or NFL game for the rest of my life. Doubtful on any other sports either, what a waste of life... I used to be such a die hard fan too back in the 70-90s.

The NFL should switch to a studio production format. No need for expansive stadiums. Just have the NFL games taped in LA on a sound stage.

Its way too early. Pre season sucks to start with. Here in the Northeast its been raining since June. Who wants to go sit in that.
The proof in the pudding is the ratings. They will be in the tank. Everyone is sick.
the bigger issue is the number of tickets sold to regular season games and the number of season ticket renewals or non-renewals...something tells me the former was not very good because if it was the NFL would leak out the fact “season ticket sales have remained steady”...
I won some club level Ravens tickets 2-3 years ago. Primo seats, parking etc. Ravens are the closest thing to a state religion there is in the Baltimore area.
No interest in going. I gave them to a buddy.
The same place they usually are: the don’t exist. NFL preseason attendance is not now nor has it ever been a story. Heck NFL regular season attendance is barely a story.
The news embargo is not just TV. Local papers, national papers, local and national sports talk shows — These PC sports pundits believe if they don’t mention it, the problem will go away.
And they know beyond a shadow of doubt what happens if they do keep Kaepernick and company before the public.
Ratings and attendance will continue to drop like a lead balloon.

Some teams have no Wait List for Season Tickets, and other NFL teams have Season Ticket Wait Lists where the wait is between 30 and 100 years.

I believe the Redskins’ waiting list has all but disappeared.
I stopped watching a season and a half ago, but I have to say, the outrage might not be as wide-spread as it should be.
Talking to a girl at work, she said something about how boring it was to watch the 2nd string preseason games. She asked which team I root for, and I told her that while I used to be a Steelers fan, I won’t be watching again until they get their players in order and stop with the BS.
She replied “Yeah, Pittsburgh definitely needs to have a more disciplined line.”
I just shook my head and let it go.
