Yes. Truly a similar note. Another thing you’ll never see on major networks or newspapers are countless stories how guns save lives. Or how The Donald is pumping up the economy. And the list goes on and on.
Not exactly what the first amendment prescribes — as I said, propaganda by omission.

I meant exhibition games are meaningless since they don’t count in the standings. If you are saying sports are meaningless, as far as our lives are concerned, that’s a different discussion.
My local paper, which I subscribed to since early 1970s(Los Angeles Daily News) got in on the collusion and I cancelled via email and was told to call. I called and they had my email and did not even try to keep me, so I think that I was not the only cancellation.
I have been to a lot of exhibition games in the past. I never wanted to spend money on NFL tickets, but i watched on TV. I knew a lot of people wth season tickets and they would just give me an exhibition game for me and my son and his cousins.
Exhibition games are summer games and the weather at night is usually good (I was in LA and Orange County and San Diego)
I think a lot of people at EX games are not the actually season ticket holder. IMO.
Anyway moot for me now. I watched games since 1954, as many as I could. this is my third year without and I don’t miss anything about it.
What do you do instead?
I was a season ticket holder for 12 years. My brother-in-law and I, both of us military veterans, did not renew this year because of the protests.
It’s preseason. The season starts the second weekend in September and I will watch, too.
Not only don’t I miss it. I question why I ever did.
Friends don’t let friends watch the NFL.
Special sections to have a social experience?
Millennials could care less about attending sports games.
It will take more than that to get them to come out. Like beard wax appreciation day or something..
Poster may be asking for the last available numbers from last season. I couldn’t find them.

Seats are usually empty during the preseason. I’m pretty sure the NFL is set to decline in both TV ratings and attendance even more this year though.
And College football....until they ruin it, too.
