Funny that you say that.

Several big dollar 100% liberal democrat donors from Hollywood and Seattle were donating the maximum allowable contributions to McCain when he competed in the Republican primary election. Funny, eh?

They NEEDED to run BHO against McCain so that the eligibility issue was skewed. (Text of S.Res. 511 (110th): A resolution recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born citizen.

Plus, John promised to be a ‘good loser.’ He never had any serious intention of winning.

Among John McCain's many faults and errors, in 2008 he ran an epically bad general election campaign against Obama. Instead of putting into place an effective team of political professionals to run the campaign, McCain more or less ran it himself -- which is like a surgeon insisting that he is best suited to do his own appendectomy.

McCain not only insisted that he would make the key decisions in his campaign, but he held long, rambling Sunday afternoon meetings with his senior political advisers and staff at the sprawling and luxurious McCain ranch in Sedona, Arizona. For most of the political professionals who participated, it was an expensive and exhausting waste of time consumed in travel and in meetings that decided little but provided a platform and sounding board for McCain.

Gradually, out of frustration, and for the sake of family time, many of McCain's hired professionals begged off regular attendance at the Sunday afternoon meetings in Sedona. McCain though remained in control of his campaign, which made for erratic, delayed, and often inept decisions.

Notably, a friend who worked in the McCain campaign at a high level came to dislike John McCain but developed considerable respect for Cindy McCain. If appointed to her husband's Senate seat, Cindy McCain may prove to be both a good Senator and the GOP team player that he husband was not.

McCain still has to answer to God for his sins; we all do.

“...Because he ran to lose, that’s why. Rino backstabber...”
GOPe = RAT = UniParty = DS = Communist
They are ALL the same.
McCain and Obama were both UniParty candidates. The election was only to make the “unwashed masses” feel good about Obama “legally winning”. The UniParty had already picked him to be POTUS regardless of his ineligibility.

This is what a designated loser looks like. Yeah, he's really serious about being President. Deep State stooge all the way.

Every vote he ever made, every decision he ever made...

will continue to haunt the country for a long time.

Not too often that I feel relieved that someone like him is gone. There are people grieving for him, but mostly democrats and his family. Republicans can breathe a bit easier going forward, but, there will continue to be RINOs all over the place.

But if he had won, not too much would have been different.

One thing different would have happened... Amnesty. That was McCain’s holy grail, the destruction of the United States. We dodged a bullet when 0bama got elected.

I agree. Also, McCain would have started wars.

most of my patients with glioblastomas had cognitive problems, if not severe confusion.
If you read the “letter” he was supposed to have written, it is quite sophisticated.
Ergo, I suspect someone else wrote it, just like someone else wrote a lot of the stuff supposedly written by McCain over the last few months.

"We weaken it (our greatness) when we hide behind walls, rather than tear them down..."

One of McCain's eight houses with a nice, tall wall.

Walls for me but not for thee.
