It’s not white people food - it’s yuppie SWPL food. Most people of any ethnicity just eat normal food, but the thin and healthy ones eat portions within shouting distance of people in the 60’s and 70’s, not the supersized ones that many have taken to.

Yep. And not sure what is unhealthy about chicken and collard greens. Sounds a lot like the chicken and rice and a salad my mom would serve up.
Serving size - when I was a kid everyone would get a baked potato, a scoop of vegetables, and maybe 4 to 6 thin strips of meat. Dad might have gotten more. I have to shake my head on the rare occasion that we have steak, and my wife puts out a huge slab of meat for all of us.
BTW - the article only talks about restaurants. Does nobody eat at home anymore?
I was getting a headlight replaced the other day and while waiting a guy who was an obvious snowflake sat near me in the waiting room and pulled out a very fancy ziplock bag full of almonds and started chomping them. My stomach ached just thinking about it. I cannot eat almonds, it’s a very painful experience.
