Talked to someone who is former Air crew. She said that story doesnt make any sense, one diaper will not knock out the entire planes lavatory system, and that is is MORE likely the airline had not serviced the lavatory system for that plane. Planes need to have their lavatory tanks exhausted of waste while on the ground. Maybe the airline forgot to exhaust the system, or maybe there was no water for flushing. But its unlikely one diaper knocked out all of the toilets on the plane.
Easier for men than women. And the latter are the ones with the weak bladders.
Then there’s the matter of Number Two ...
In Boy Scout leader training some years ago, one of the instructors passed along the tip that if you don’t want to have to get out of your tent first thing in the am for a visit to the latrine, keep an empty 20-oz. soda bottle w/lid in your tent (and that there are items available that permit females to use a bottle for that purpose as well).
