Cavill was an excellent Superman. One of the best.
He was good in the MI6:Fallout. Saw that this weekend.
Extremely good movie. No politics, just boatloads of action. Start to Finish. Cruise did a lot of his own stunts, which, you gotta ask how he lived through some of them.
He was fine as an actor... but the stupidity at DC to try to make Superman some angst ridden anti-hero when they relaunched the brand in film was beyond stupid....
DC just can’t seem to understand, respecting the source material draws in big bucks... playing with a winning formula does not.
