California professor Christine Ford claims Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her: 'It derailed me'

The woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault came forward with her explosive allegations on Sunday, saying the supposed attack "derailed me substantially for four or five years" and claiming that the episode rendered her "unable to have healthy relationships with men."

The woman, Christine Ford, is a professor at Palo Alto University, according to The Washington Post, which published her account on Sunday. Her decision to go public caps a whirlwhind week that began when Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., sent shockwaves through Washington by releasing a statement saying she turned over information about Kavanaugh from an anonymous accuser to the FBI.

Ford, a 51-year-old registered Democrat who has published in academic journals and trains students in clinical psychology, described the alleged incident on Sunday, saying it occurred at a Maryland house gathering. Ford claimed she headed upstairs to a bathroom when she was suddenly pushed onto a bed, as rock-and-roll music blared.

She obviously planned this from the beginning, she wrote the letter and the part about not wanting to come forward is total bs.

Gee, Billy Bob Clinton did all that and worse and the dems rallied around him.

I guess it's only wrong if a Republican does it.

Doesn't remember where it was, when it was or how she got there but she remembers him.

Did she already know him?

2 of the 3 people that she says were there deny that it happened.

The dems are allied with the mohammadens so by their rules they need 4 witnesses to say that it did happen.

Look, her being a big Dem donor makes this whole thing too ridiculous. None of this is provable. And it wasn’t that horrible an incident.

But if I am being honest, there are people I know who were very bad many years ago, the statue of limitations ran out long ago, but if they were a nominee for the Supreme Court, I’d rise up and tell the public too. Really rotten character never goes away. I’d feel wrong if I didn’t speak up at that point. However, I know of guys that did what Kavanaugh did and I’d never raise my voice because kids can be rough and the #metoo was not around back then. But men who raped and seduced children, I’d speak up for sure.

What Kavanaugh did doesn’t rise to permanently bad character, though I never liked him once I heard he protected the Clintons from being prosecuted for one of their first DC murders. A lot of other people have lost their lives because the first one was so easy. But his rough handling while drunk of a girl in high school is not criminal enough to keep him off the Supreme Court.

The biggest red flag was that Feinstein knew about this for months but never mentioned it when she had a chance to question Kavanaugh directly during his confirmation hearing.

What this means is that there is no mention of this in the public record of his Senate confirmation hearing.

I have a different take on this. Feinstein and the Dems ended up looking like fools for the ridiculous release of the secret letter. So they brought this twit out in a double down.

How much do democrats care about women? Eshoo and Feinstein held on to the letter for 4 months. If the so-called incident was so horrendous, why wasn’t it immediately handed to the FBI? Implied is the fact that, if Kavanaugh had not been confirmed, they would have let the matter die, denying this woman her justice (assuming she told the truth, which is Anita Hill doubtful). Her “derailment” was no more than a political insurance policy. That’s your democrat party.

I’m glad I’m not running for office, all those games I played as a kid, spin the bottle, 5 minutes in heaven, and all those drive ins as a teenager? I’d be doomed. I doubt if any of those girls would still remember me today after 60+ years? Do broken hearts count?

The Republicans, of course, need to shoot this down with proton torpedoes.

But, of course, they won’t..

They’ll be falling all over themselves expressing their “concern” for these “serious allegations.”

Just despicable.

Ford to WaPo: “My biggest fear was, do I look like someone just attacked me? [I thought], I’m not ever telling anyone this. This is nothing, it didn’t happen, and he didn’t rape me.”
