Two Republican candidates running for office in Minnesota were reportedly assaulted in two incidents on the campaign trail this weekend. Police are currently investigating the assaults on the candidates, who are both running campaigns for the Minnesota State House, after they each said during the weekend that they were attacked.
Minnesota State Rep. Sarah Anderson (R-Plymouth) claimed one man who identified himself as an anarchist charged at her Sunday afternoon after she confronted him for kicking one of her campaign signs.

Sarah Anderson described the attack as “un-Minnesotan”. In my ten years in that state I have found it to be very Minnesotan to engage in physical assault and vandalize property, and justify it as political expression - and if one is a DFL’er, get away with it.
If there is a red tsunami in Minnesota, Minnecraponus will riot. I would say let it burn. The city deserves to become Baltimore.

It's intentional. There's lots of people who metaphorically carry a white flag of surrender in their back pockets... Intimidation works... and our response - too much intensity - works against us.
We should be mocking them... not ‘fighting back’ in the traditional sense, but fighting back in a way that undermines them...
There is no point to not enforce the law on these folks, soon it will be dangerous to go to work..agreed, it is time for a smack down..
