When I was at the Grand Canyon on the Navejo reserve in Nevada, to see their eagle cliff and walk their glass walkway, I saw a guy leaning quite forward to make it look like he was flying. All I could think about is how it would have taken a momentary wobble or a loose pebble to cause him to lose his balance and go over the edge.
The song “first let me take a selfie” should have a video remix of idiots doing selfies falling victim to “duh”.
Sounds more like a “mushy” than a “selfie”
These selfies are generating so many Darwin Award winners that it needs a separate category.
Somedays you get the selfie; other days the selfie gets you.

I have done recovery work at Yosemite after bodies fall thousands of feet, the best term is “partsies”.

A couple of years ago a group of Indian students encountered a black bear while hiking in NJ close to the NY border; they’d been warned of it by other hikers but ignored the warnings. It charged, they scattered, and one was killed - after taking pictures of the charging bear:

I have to think something about the belief in reincarnation prevented these students from understanding the danger (seriously).
