My first impression reading the story was that Douglass would be deeply disappointed and dismayed that this happened in a school with his name.
It seems entirely likely Douglass, if asked, would opine that despite our best intentions we have created an environment for Blacks that encourages some of them to behave consistent with their tribal instincts; that in fact, we have nurtured a return for them to that lifestyle.
IMO, R's need to deprive the left's use of Blacks as a tool and take the lead in developing groups of strong, patriotic Black leaders in each community. It is not enough we have "invited" Blacks in, we must support their effective assimilation. Many would be grateful and no longer reflexively support D's.

No she wont be suspended. OBAMA Holder rules want there to be racial equality in outcomes when it comes to punishment and funding is tied to it.
I got into the real estate business in Baltimore in the late ‘70’s and was shocked when one of my office mates referred to Baltimore City as “Planet of the Apes”. It was a lot better back then.

Years ago, I think during the 1980s, I turned the TV on and checked what was on MTV as I occasionally did just see what the kids were watching. There was a white dude on there doing his best imitation of ghetto talk. He kept punctuating every sentence with "You know what I'm saying, man" and other similar phrases, gesturing and moving around as he talked.
Thought it was one of the most ridiculous displays I'd ever seen. Had never seen the dude before. Later learned it was Eminem.
Teacher needs to file criminal charges and get a restraining order against the student if the school won’t act.
