Iowa Democrats don’t know what they want but they know it’s not Hillary

Since it’s never too early to start the 2020 election cycle, CNN got out ahead of the pack this week and put a poll in the field in Iowa, the first caucus state for the presidential election. They were looking to see who the hot prospects for the nomination are. The results aren’t all that much different from some national polls we’ve already looked it, but there were a few juicy bits of goodness in there.

At the top of the pack (as usual) were Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. The only real shocker was to see Beto O’Rourke moving up into third place. But there was one name missing from notable contention and Chris Cillizza read the tea leaves. Iowa Democrats have pretty much no interest in seeing Hillary Clinton darkening their doorways for a third try. (snip)

This clearly not a case of Hillary Clinton just being “less interesting” to Iowa voters than others. Her favorable numbers are underwater, with nearly a quarter of them seeing her “very unfavorably.” And that figure regarding whether she would “add to” or “detract from” the race by being in it at all is just brutal. She lost that one by more than 70%. So it’s not just case of liking someone else better. Iowa Democrats don’t even want her on the stage.

But if it’s not Hillary, then what about the Year of the Women? Well… anyone hoping for that outcome in Iowa has a lot of work to do. The top four candidates are all men. Biden gets 30%, Sanders pulls 14, O’Rourke gets 9, and Cory Booker gets 5%. The first woman we see on the list is Kamala Harris who ties John Kerry (!) with 4%. Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar show up with 3% each.

I never saw any Beto signs here in NE Tx till recently, saw a bumper sticker tonight, and I thought about BETO people.

They are cult people, they like Cher, folks with one name.

Good luck, we have TRUMP.
Of course he has more than one name.

Iowa Dem pros admit to me that more than 15 would-be candidates are asking about hiring Iowa staff. Maryland Congruessman John Delaney has already been to all 99 Iowa counties. No one reports being worked by a Hillary campaign.

There is only one sin in the RAT playbook: losing. All they really want is power and a loser is not going to be able to get it.

Never, ever, call him “Beto”.
The nickname is specifically designed to appropriate a Hispanic image.

Call him Robert Francis O'Rourke.
If people you are talking to try to insist on a nickname, then call him “Whitey” O'Rourke. The billionaire drunk driver who puts the privilege in “white privilege.” The arrogant politician who puts the supremacist in “white supremacist “.

Make them eat the childish nickname ploy, and mock them as they squirm and fume and try to resurrect their idiotic narrative.
There are times when relentless mockery is the appropriate response. This is one of those times.

Call him Robert Francis O'Rourke.

Sounds too catholic. The last thing we need is a papist starting up a bromance with that lowlife scumsucking Marxist thug Frankie. The damage would be incalculable.

So Beto has a drinking problem. He was an English major. He spent his college days drinking and playing in a garage band. He then married a super rich girl. Or better said, he married a billionaires daughter. They started a company building web-sites. She runs it. He ran for little offices like city counsel. Then he ran for congress. And then ran for Senate. In all cases he way out spent his opponent. He even had far more money than Ted Cruz.

In many ways this guy is like Ted Kennedy or Obama. He did nothing before going to Washington. And so he is perfect to run for President in the democrat party. Thats how they like them. You be president, while the swamp runs the country.

I am thinking this guy is like Hart. He probably has someone on the side. If you see him drinking there is a problem. You never seem to see him with his wife. And I am guessing the FBI could look into his campaign finances. Because the money is not his or his wife’s. Its his father-in-laws. So how do tens of millions make it into his campaign.
