Bezos and the National Enquirer

Bezos — a self-described “family man” — has been whisking his mistress off to exotic destinations on his $65 million private jet, sending her raunchy messages and erotic selfies — including one steamy picture too explicit to print here — and having secret rendezvous at palatial private estates.

During a blockbuster four-month investigation, The ENQUIRER tracked Bezos, who turns 55 on Jan. 12, and secret lover Sanchez across five states and 40,000 miles, tailed them in private jets, swanky limos, helicopter rides, romantic hikes, five-star hotel hideaways, intimate dinner dates and “quality time” in hidden love nests.

According to the National Enquirer, it was their investigation that uncovered Bezos's affair and may cost him upwards of $70B in a divorce. Apparently, the publisher of the National Enquirer (David Pecker) is a BFF of Donald Trump. And I think most of us know that Bezos owns the Washington Post (WAPO), which has been a huge thorn in Trump's side.

So here is my question: Do you think this was Trump's payback to Bezos? Personally, I think it is very likely. Thoughts?

So the mistress is married too?

They are ThevNatural Enquirer. Pushing stories on steamy, illicit sex and adultery is their business. That's what they do. Got little to d0 with President Trump versus Bezos.

It would be highly amusing if that was the case.

Most people discussing the “amicable, still-a-family, gonna be friends” divorce announcement assumed the real story was this.

Normally, I don’t normally care about someone’s private life, and think it’s wrong to destroy someone via a public exposé, but I’ll make an exception in this case.

The Washington Post has long played a central role in the politics of destruction used so effectively and unilaterally against Republican politicians.

It’s great to see the owner of the WaPo get hoisted by his own petard.

I have found that National Enquirer stories have at least a kernel of truth. They often push more legitimate (?) news sources to investigate.....like with John Edwards and his mistress. I always notice the Enquirer headlines, while at the checkout line in the grocery store.

How much did the Post print about Stormy Daniels in an attempt to bring Trump down?

A fool and his money are easily parted. I never cease to be amazed at the foolish actions of middle aged men over sex. He’s 55 and his girl friend is 49. Wonder if she will continue to excite him as she moves through Menopause and Post Menopause. Stay tuned!

Does she now get to be part owner of the Post?

If so, does she then have some ability, as an almost-majority stockholder, to affect the editorial content of the paper?

(Probably not, but the results of the divorce settlement could be interesting...)

"It’s great to see the owner of the WaPo get hoisted by his own petard."

His wife obviously doesn't think it's great for anyone other than him to be hoist on his own pitard, that's for sure.

Bezos should have gotten his kicks by watching hot videos on Amazon Prime (his own network) instead of blatant cheating on his wife.
