We have had a Great Recession rivaling the Great Depression. Young people living at home with parents severely underemployed and paying student loan payments can’t/won’t/shouldn’t have kids. People struggling to find constant, good paying employment tend to wait until their finances are secure before they have children.
We need a continuation of the Trump economic boom to see a baby boom.
