Showering one right now. She has the mind of a 3 year old and can’t walk very well.

I'd like to see RBG skydive.

I suppose all she needs to do is to vote the same as other three liberals do, easy peasy. It just seems kind of hypocritical that the Democrats were going at the angle that President Trump might be senile and not competent to do the job.

My Dad’s around that age. He could probably do it ... but wouldn’t want to.

My mother started clocking out at 85 and now at 92 is a basket case. RBG is useless toast.

Call me cynical, but she has a staff who have been doing the real work for a long time. She only has be breathing.

My Dad is 81. He is sharp as a tack. He used the tractor to snowplow the driveway on Saturday, while my 78 year old Mom shoveled part of the walk. I am 1000 miles away so I am not there to do it.
My Dad had double pneumonia a few years back and came through fine.
This all said, my folks have not had cancer or the like.
Not to mention, my Dad probably would be a far better fit on the bench than that, well, RBG.

My MIL is 86 and in fine physical and mental shape. Although she never had a college level course in her life and certainly barely aware of the study of law, she would adamantly insist that she could make SCOTUS level legal decisions.

After all, she’s a Dhimmicrat.

I’d bet on that. As a three time cancer survivor at her age, she’s on the short list for other life ending issues.

:: Dead very soon! ::

Would December 29, 2018 fit your definition of “very soon”?

I would not be surprised to see the justices demise by the end of June. Usually Lung Cancer is highly lethal.Especially during these times when those non-government employees get much less coverage than our overlords.

She can be on the bench but she can’t hear cases if she is incapacitated. IOW she can’t have someone else stand in for her.

I wish they could quickly bring cases before the USSC involving President Trump, in which RGB would have to recuse herself since she so publicly vocalized her disdain for him. She has prejudiced herself.

“All RBG has to do is to still know how to sign her name.”

Why? Can’t they just forge it?

John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the SCOTUS left at age 50 to be the Gov of NY...

so the SCOTUS didn’t start out as a lifetime job...

My Dad could have been a Supreme Court Justice at 85. Ninety would have been a stretch, 93 definitely not.

But 85 would have been no problem.

It depends on the person. My grandfather used to walk about ten miles a day at 90. He tripped and fell one day and the doctors spent so long trying to figure out why that he lost all his muscle tone. Dementia set in soon after and he died a couple years later.

A friend tells of his grandfather dying at the age of 100. He got hit by a bus riding his bicycle.

My mom’s husband is 81 or so. He’s in great shape and fly’s his own plane.

Male life expectancy in 1790 was 36.5 years.

My mom is 85, there is no way you would even treat cancer with surgery at that age, infection will take them out, especially lungs, I think we are being lied to!

I know three that are still as sharp as a tack. All three are still active in finance and banking and one still has a cattle ranch.
