When the lake in Macarthur Park in LA was drained twice in the 70s police found hundreds of handguns. In big cities when they clean the storm sewers every couple of years they always find dozens of handguns along with the occasional corpse.

“found a Second World War-era hand grenade and then went to Taco Bell.”
Florida, it happens all the time.

Yes, I wouldn’t of handled that heh.

One pound of HE is still enough to make a day go poorly. Even the detonator is enough to make a day go poor.

It’s funny he decided his next stop was tacos though.

Grenades can be very handy. Why’d he tell the cops?

Usually people produce grenades a few hours AFTER leaving taco bell.

LOL, “the Standard Mk-2 “Pineapple” fragmentation grenade. My daughter gave me one for Christmas, and she found it at a yard sale. It had the popper hole, but some people find them and think they are Hollywood grenades that blow up a whole building. Its only a paper weight, I put it in with my toy soldier collection.

I used to go magnet fishing off of fishing piers. The most common find was pocket and filet knives. This was back in the 1970’s when people spent more time outdoors fishing.

Looks like a standard Mk 2 pinapple hand grenade, but the French No.1 and Soviet F1 were very similar. It has been reported the Mk 2 was modeled on the French No. 1.

Current hand grenades are much better.

Taco Bell is a lifesaver.

Bean burrito, no onions, no cheese. Road food.

The rumble keeps the back seat humble. If you have traveled cross country with a back seat full of kids you know what I’m talking about.

Just great to know. As a kid in the 60’s, I went there frequently with my playmates.

Which would make a bigger explosion - the grenade or him 30 minutes after eating at Taco Bell?
