Dad didn’t teach him well enough . . .
We got a kid like that here. He got caught with a kill list, and tried to buy a gun off of Craig’s List. Got reported to the authorities.
The kid is going to PUBLIC SCHOOL, where he is taught in classrooms where it is just him and the teacher.
Kid you not.
No, the kid has something wrong with him, and should be locked up like a zoo animal.
Speaking from personal experience I agree with you.
It doesnt hit every kid, but even if the kid doesnt get addicted it can produce a lazy mind and make them a poor student or lazy worker.
As a supervisor of entry level employees, I see a lot of the new generation of workers that are addicted to their cell phones. When you take them out on a training exercise it is best to make them leave their phones behind.
My step daughter got fired from a job because she got caught twice on her cell phone on the clock. A lot of employers are taking a hard line on this.
How old is this kid?
Agree. Too bad he wasn’t a few years older so he’d be locked up for a couple of decades. Being only 11, he can’t be kept past his 18th birth date. The family needs to go into Witness Protection before he gets out.
He’s 16 now. He got caught when he was 14, was gone a year, and now BACK in the same HS.
The rest of the family may be great.
Either he deserved a sound butt beating or he was lying to get his parents in trouble.
Humans go out of their way these days to create drama.
Well, he's 11. We had a bad seed in our family, the first 30 years or so of his life he was a complete monster, and other than a few hard knocks he never was punished. Or treated. He never did drugs, or drink, he was just mean. Nobody even knows why he changed, but sometime in his 30's he stopped being bad. The next 30 years (to this day), he's been living a blameless life except that he is plagued by regret and the conviction that the things he did have put him beyond redemption. It's sad. My dad talks to him about it and he says things like "Jesus didn't die for THAT." He'll cry and insist there's no fixing anything he messed up, and he messed up a lot of lives. His kids were born when he was past 40, they adore him. In my lifetime I've never heard him speak ill of anyone or raise his voice. So...it does happen, and no one should give up on a little boy. There's a reason in heaven that his dad survived this.
Evil little monster. Dad’s lucky. The whole family is lucky. Hope mama doesn’t let him back in the house before the judge sends him away.
We had one two doors down. The father was way up in a huge company and had wackadoodle demonrat views. The kid was a fire bug and would shoot animals just to wound. He and the father would trespass around the neighborhood. Thankfully, they moved.
How could you ever go to sleep again if he’s in the house???
Dad, its going to be the hardest thing you ever did but you need to institutionalize your son. Your life depends on it.
Yes, he shot his father,
but the weapon was a Vulcan Phaser Cannon
in the 40 mega watt range.
Disagree. He should have whipped the little sh*t, and the little sh*t would not now be in serious trouble.
I knew immediately that this family has been way overindulgent of this little @$$hole for his entire life. Properly trained boys do not do such things.
Has Charlie Manson been reincarnated??
ROFL!!
I don’t have children.
But what do you do with a kid that SHOT you!?!??!?!
Lock the gun away?
A baseball but or kitchen knife of ammonia/bleach in your coffee will cause some pain and grief!!
No doubt. This kid is a true sociopath. He is devoid of feelings. I just wonder what things he has done in the past to members of his family prior to this. There had to be incidents that have built up to shooting the father. It’s a good question...what do you do with a kid like this. The options are not good for him.
Sparks the debate:
Heredity or environment?
Sociopath. That’s what I was thinking.
And you’re right. If he has siblings they may have seen his wrath but were threatened not to tell.
And I don’t think a Time Out will cut it as punishment this time!
