I am not a racist in anyway, HOWEVER there is NO WAY I would get into a car with a black man I didn’t know ALONE, NO WAY!!!
The Uber app does give you this info.
But on a crowded street it is hard to distinguish. And a lot of those drivers look the same. As a matter of fact the banned ones drive on others’ accounts. There is not much to stop them.
I’ve driven for Uber. I drive a taxi. I am telling y’all a taxi is ten times safer for driver and passenger.
I watched the video very closely this girl just jumped into the car, I didn’t see a U sticker in his windshield WHY would she do this???

One look at that guy behind the wheel, and I would have backed out of the car and walked to the nearest open building. He looks predatory, and that would be true whatever color he was.
As to why she’d do this... I drive a lot of vulnerable people. Drunk, high, frail elderly, discharged from hospitals and psych units, people who don’t speak English...

We pick up and drop off insensible people every day. We could roll them rape them kill them get their personal info...you need serious standards for your drivers. Child safety locks is one more reason! We are driving down a freeway and you are essentially our prisoner even if you are stable and strong.

Did her phone quit working when she got in the car? Did it run out of battery before she got in the car? Did she pass out when she got in the car?
Didn’t this happen to a female in Virginia within the last five years? I’m thinking the Virginia case involved a serial killer. The Virginia case did not involve an Uber.
I reiterate what I said before. You are getting in a car with a total stranger. This isn’t a cab company, this is someone you don’t know with no credentials. I don’t care what the company says they do. You are an idiot to believe your ok, you ain’t armed you get what you deserve. The driver ain’t armed he/she gets what they deserve. Before any person gets into any vehicle driven by someone they do not know they should actually take a picture of the said vehicle AND the driver and send both pictures to several folks.
Yup. Mean it. If the person driving objects that’s the point where you not only do not get into the car, you contact the driver’s company to question them about the driver. If it turns out that the car you almost got into isn’t from the correct company, that’s the time to pass the information on to the cops. Someone pretending to be a driver for a company’s most likely done it before...

I have NEVER used Lyft or Uber just for these reasons if I need a ride after dropping my car for service or any reason I ALWAYS call a cab, I feel safer with a taxi plain and simple!!!

By taking the picture, if the guy objects she doesn’t get into the vehicle. Then if the company says, “He’s not one of our guys,” the cops can be given this the picture for their ‘nuts’ file.
Taking the picture doesn’t guarantee life is lived. The driver can still be a nut, thinking the picture was not really taken or sent and waste the passenger.
Let’s say for argument’s sake, I’m dead. Yup. Dead and buried out in the woods. You’re correct. And my friends have pictures.
Those pictures that my friends have? Well, there’s a good chance using them they can get to the guy/gal that killed me. It’s been proven that killers usually kill more than once and hopefully...truly hopefully...I would have just been the first. Because perhaps he or she wouldn’t have the chance to get to kill a 2nd time.
